dmnokia
Hi Folks, I downloaded some software from "mandrake.redbox.cz" and texstar. When I want to install I receive the following warning. "The following packages have bad signatures:" I dont know what this mean and what should I do Thx, for your help DM
Ronin
It means you should import the PGP keys and that should take care of that warning. Or you can do what I do and just ignore them and install the RPMS.
fuzzylizard
I usually ignore it as well and have yet to have a problem. It means you should import the PGP keys and that should take care of that warning. How do you do this? I know nothing about PGP, but would really like to learn. At least enough to be able to digitally sign email and to import the PGP keys to remove that annoying message. Do you have any links to newbie friendly how-tos on getting started with PGP or GPG? Guest dturley
I've had mandrake's key installed for some time. I never got bad signature messages until I did the recent drak* updates
