linux_jester
Hi, I've installed Apache 2.0.52 from source on MDK 10.1 . I would like to get it to start automatically on boot, does anyone know of an easy way to do this by the konsole or other means? Thanks
Qchem
You need an initscript for this, usually located in /etc/init.d The best way to do this may be to use the mandrake apache rpm initscript and edit it so that it refers to your situation. Post back if you get stuck. :D
SoulSe
You should also be able to make it start as a service in the Mandrake Control Centre, if you're using Mandrake. That'd be the easiest. rc-update anyone? Sorry, us Gentoo users tend to show off a lot. :P
