drjonesac2 Posted December 23, 2004 Report Share Posted December 23, 2004 Greetings all, I am attempting to install Mandrake 10.1 on a Compaq Proliant 6400R. the person I bought it from said that they had done all of the firmware updates and such but I have my doubts. Anyway, I have a couple of probably stupid questions. 1. Has had any success getting Mandrake (or any version of Linux) installed on these bad boys? 2. Do I need to set up the raid controller before I install Linux? If so, How? 3. Would anyone out there with experience on this type of server be willing to give me an email address for further questions? Thanks guys/gals, you have never failed me in the past!
