Guest exo-bot
As the description says, I can't browse out of my /home/user folder, says I don't have the permissions (can't quite remember the exact phrasing) - Can anyone direct me on how to fix this? Also, is there any way to 'su' in KDE, so you can temporarily change things with a gui? While I'm here, may as well ask this one too: Is there any way to control what services you have started, eg controls for them; start, stop, list connected clients - specifically for SSH and Apache? Thanks for your time
n00i3
This may not be the perfect solution >>> you must have set the security settings to paranoid. :P there is a configuration utility called the mandrake control center which you can get at by clicking the K start button -> configuration -> configure your computer it runs as root and you'll be able to see the services running and whether you would like to run them on boot and all the other stuff including security levels ... you can lower them to high/normal :D cheers!
