crispus
Is there any way to limit the size of the log files? Is there an option in MCC to limit the syslog and message log to only a couple of days. I've noticed that both of these log files are over a gig and have about 10 days worth of logs which coincides with when I upgraded from 10.1 CE to OE. bvc
details? not sure...I've always turned the crap off :P Though it's currently running on them now. Just cleared messages yesterday at 80MB. checkout anacron, cron, at, logrotate, and the rest of the family. Cron usually handles cleaning etc...but if you shutdown your sys at night, guess what? It won't run It amazes me that anacron is not installed by default on ALL linux distros. It runs at more civil times of the day.
