Peppercorn
Hi all I am running Mandrake 10.1 and using the 2.6 kernel. However I downloaded the Netraverse installer and tried using the 2.6 and the 2.4 and it said that either kernel was compatible with Win4lin. I then went to the Mandrake site and downloaded a WIN4lin kernel 2.6 (something) but when I try to boot into it I get a "kernel panic" error. I have no idea of what I have done wrong, can anyone here give me an idea??? Thanks for your help in advance. pmpatrick
Exactly specify the kernel you installed and the method you used to install it. If you installed the kernel from inside mandrake control center>Software Management>Install, it won't install correctly IIRC.
