Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Uh, you really need to give more information here. What do you mean by "entirely Windows network"? Does that mean you have a Windows NT4 domain with clients joined to it, or a Windows 2000/3/Active Directory domain? Or, is it just a workgroup of Win9x machines? With WinXP home? With WinXP Pro? Samba can do this under any of these conditions, but to be able to help you configure it, we need to know this ... painesy Posted November 22, 2004 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2004 Sorry, It is just a group of windows 98 and xp machines. They are currently just sharing two drives on one of the 98 machines and we feel that it could be worthwhile having a dedicated machine for this.
