arctic
this depends on the type of artwork you want to install. with themes, download a mandrake rpm and install it by double-clicking the file. if you only have the tar.gz available for download, you need to have the compiling libraries installed on your box. in order to compile the files, open a terminal, go to the specified folder of the theme (e.g. cd /home/me/theme) and run ./configure make make install in case of icon-themes, you open kcontrol, go to the icon-section and install the new icon theme (there is a button for that) unless you have to run an icon-creation script first, but this is usually written in a readme file in the icon-package.
