Guest mdhowe
I´ve just upgraded to 10.1 Official and am having problems with urpmi. I´m looking for sdl-config so I type urpmf sdl-config and it finds nothing. So I google it and find out it´s in libSDL1.2-devel. So I type urpmi libSDL1.2-devel No package named libSDL-devel A bit more googling reveals that it should be on cd4 but its definitely not on my cd4. So, I download it from somewhere, try to install it and it complains about dependencies!! Does anyone know whats going on? are my CDs dodgy? Its 10.1 Official download version BTW. devries
CD4 is the 'contrib' CD. Try removing it from your media an than add 'contrib' (look in the FAQs for urpmi). edit: for contrib read main
chris:b
CD4 has nothing to do with contrib. Not in 10.0 and not in 10.1 - It's 'main' libSDL1.2-devel is in /main on the ftp mirrors. Add main to your urpmi sources, that should solve the dep problem.
