Guest eraser Posted November 13, 2004 Report Share Posted November 13, 2004 I am getting so frustrated with trying to get this setup to work. I spent days on this with mdk 10.0. I decided to give up and wait for mdk 10.1 I just spent more hours trying to get it to work with mdk 10.1 with no luck. background: I know the card works because I put it in a windows box and got it working right away. I know that mdk 10.x control centre / TV card setup / doesn´t properly detect or set-up the card. I manually added saa7134 card=16 to modprobe.preload and removed the ¨options saa7134¨ etc.. that mdk had added. xawtv - blank screen tvtime - blank screen HELP!! Guest eraser Posted November 20, 2004 Report Share Posted November 20, 2004 Solved Kinda. I finally figured out that my new version of the card (7135) has a tuner that is not yet supported by linux.
