kmc77 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Share Posted November 3, 2004 (edited) Using Ubuntu I just turned on my usb HD and noticed that It didn't mount. so I tried my dvd rom and my floppy. Nothing. For some reason, nothing is mounting. So I open fstab to see what It looks like # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 /dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1 /dev/hda5 none swap sw 0 0 /dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0 /dev/hdd /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0 /dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0 What's going on? I ended up throwing the install disk back in and leting it detect all of my hardware then cancelling the install. When I rebooted, everything was back. So I guess this is resolved, kind of.
