Guest tuxman
Hi, someone know where I can find the diff patch between linux-2.6.8.1 and linux-2.6.8.1-mdk? it's necessary for me because I must apply a security patch to the kernel (www.grsecurity.net) that it work ONLY under a vanilla kernel. Then I wont apply it to a vanilla kernel and after the mdk-patch. All for implement the tipical feature of MDK's kernels (as automount, bootspash etc.) Thaks for all :D TuxMan - Italy [moved from Software by spinynorman - welcome aboard :)]
Qchem
I've never come across a vanilla to mandrake kernel patch (it would probably be a series of patches anyway). Are you sure the security patch you want has not be applied to one of the available mandrake kernels? I'd be quite surprised if it wasn't (unless its a very obscure patch). Guest tuxman
Officially the grsecurity patch work ONLY on vanilla kernel. But when they public the 2.6.8 version I try to apply to MKD 2.6.8.1 kernel. Thanks TuxMan - Italy
