Sophisto
Hi! Now when Ive got most of my PC to work with Mandrake Ive come to the final challange... to set up my tv-out! I've looked around and it seems like you are supposed to use Xfree86 or seomthing like that but I saw somewhere that it didnt support Radeon 7000? Mandrake have installed my Radeon 7000 as "Radeon VE/7000 QY (AGP/PCI) and it seems to work fine... do I need extra drivers to get my TV-out to work? Guest RocketCityExpie
No, you do not have to have any other software. But it clones the display. You have to set Xorg to use the radeon (fbdev) server and set your display to one of the following: 640x480@60Hz 800x600@60 1024x768@60. You will only have 16bit color depth.
