I have installed madrake 10.1 community..The whole install goes well...Some great stuff there...But I have 1 major problem..being that the internet is so so slow. I am on a 1.5 MB Link..I give my machine a static i.p. address then give default gateway 192.168.1.1 (being ADSL router) & DNS Same. It certainly works but literlty takes 30 seconds to load a normal 1 second page. I have tried Fedora - All O.K. & half a dozen other disto's they all work fine...Just Mandrake is slow. Everything must be pretty right because I can use the new remote esktop connection accross the net to my other office & its " just blinding"...Anyone got any idea's ?
