FX Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Well I am enjoying it. Believe it or not. :P Now if I could only get my pen drive to mount. Also not that it really matters but XMMS seems to be broke. I get a kind of long error when I try to load it. So using Music Player instead. Outside of those two things its running pretty good, even at a preview release yet. (Its suppose to be an official release sometime today or this month.) arctic Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 maybe the mounting of your pen-drive will be fixed once the final version is out. btw., i am also enjoying my ubuntu. it is rock-stable now on my box after the latest updates. didn't have one crash of any app i used so far. i think ubuntu will have a very big impact on the scene, once it gets final (with a optically "better" (more beautiful) installer like anaconda).
