Peppercorn Posted September 27, 2004 Report Share Posted September 27, 2004 Hi all, I am looking for a guide of how to set up a terminal I think it is called or a port? Where my kids can use a computer in their bedroom which is really only a port to a server that I have. Do you understand?? The kids computer would have no hard drive and it would be connected via the network to a more powerful computer in my office. I know that it can be done but I don't know the terminology to do a search. they have an old 486 but it is really getting OLD!!! and I thlought that this may be a better option than trying to find a 2nd hand cheap computer.
