shams Posted September 23, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 23, 2004 hi, thanks for reply ,is md5sum and md5checksum the same,if these are the same then the output is totally defferent and the iso's are corrupt,or if the md5sum and md5checksum are defferent operations plz write to me how i can check it with md5checksum? aioshin Posted September 23, 2004 Report Share Posted September 23, 2004 the md5sum is the command we issued in linux to check the md5 checksum of a certain file, for me, i would not try to use ur iso, maybe it was a modified iso or was corrupted during you downloaded it... papaschtroumpf Posted September 23, 2004 Report Share Posted September 23, 2004 note that different packages have differnt md5sum, so CD1 and CD2 for the powerpack for example have different md5sums from CD1 and 2 from the discovery edition of whatever it's called.
