Guest blackdog Posted December 22, 2002 Report Share Posted December 22, 2002 I have a bind sever at work that was set up by anout person...but he left and did not tell us how to do bind..I was wondring how I add/edit bind info...all there is on the sever is ssh and nano no gnu. what in the hell do I do? it is onley one sever and we do web hosting... Get to learn nano (or install something better, like vi, which will syntax-highlight bind files), and have a quick read throught the bind-howto. If you can, you may want to try putting webmin on the server, which would make it a bit easier. If you're going to do it manually, make sure to bump the serial any time you make a change, and be very careful with dots ... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
