Guest rflovato Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 Hi, I'm using Mandrake PowerPack 10 with my notebook hp pavillion zv5000, but I'm not load the modules: [root@notebook-hp root]# modprobe ac FATAL: Error inserting ac (/lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/kernel/drivers/acpi/ac.ko.gz): No such device [root@notebook-hp root]# modprobe battery FATAL: Error inserting battery (/lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/kernel/drivers/acpi/battery.ko.gz): No such device Thanks. devries Posted September 14, 2004 Report Share Posted September 14, 2004 Are you trying to get ACPI running? Just install the acpi and acpid packages (for more information about how to install packages look in the FAQs for urpmi), activate them in the MCC (system-->services) and reboot.
