Artificial Intelligence
Well I'll asked because I don't know how the linux system is build like and I have been unlucky with my google search (or searched on wrong words). Not that I'm saying when people here says it's not needed for defrag and clean up, just when you got used to winblow in so many years you think all these tools is a must. That's why so many people ask the question....I think (I can only speak for myself :) ) Would you post a link which give a deep explaination, thanks :) .:=The AI Dude=:. Gowator
AI, I wasnt talking about you :D If someone doesnt beleive when everyone keeps telling them then I refer to the docs.... but if you really wanna find out the deep anything the Linux Documentation Project is a great start. (http://ldp.org) However a really good description of filesystems is actually on the resierfs site...it does bias towards resiserfs of course but it describes how linux filesystems actually work and how they are very different to windows ones! try http://cbbrowne.com/info/defrag.html for a discussion on this.... :D
