Guest observer24
Hello, I am currently using an Intel/PRO 2100b miniPCI card in my vprmatrix 220a5. it works like a charm in XP, however I cannot install the ipw2100 driver. When I run "make" in the driver directory, I get the following output: <stdin>:1:28: linux/rhconfig.h: No such file or directory make -C /lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/build SUBDIRS=/home/alex/ipw2100-0.54 MODVERDIR= /home/alex/ipw2100-0.54 modules make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.3-7mdk' *** Warning: Overriding SUBDIRS on the command line can cause *** inconsistencies make[2]: `arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.s' is up to date. devries
http://groundstate.ca/node/view/313 It's in the new beta Or read this: In order to use the IPW2100 driver you will need the following: Linux (of course) with a 2.4.26+ or 2.6.4+ kernel [link]. See README.ipw2100 for information on specific options required to be enabled in the kernel. Wireless Extensions (v16) and Tools (v27) [link] The IPW2100 driver. You can obtain the latest development snapshot below. The IPW2100 binary firmware image. The firmware can be obtained here. and you have a 2.6.3 kernel so you need to upgrade.
