arctic
i got the new ximian evolution a few days ago in its 1.5.x version (not stable... they say) and i am positively surprised (it is rock-stable on my box). evolution 1.4 was already good but many user complained about its graphical look. 1.5 looks nice now. they kicked the left-hand selection panel, instead using buttons for mail, contacts, tasks. thus more space is left for the rest of the tasks you plan. and importing/regrouping folders was absolutely painless. i am quite pleased... one million times better than any other organizer imho. although kontact is on its heels, but still with a left-side selection menu.. :)
coverup
Is there any way to install it alongside with 1.4.x, from sources for example? I'd like to give it a try, but am reluctant to use red carpet. I used it to install evo 1.2, it messed up gnome libraries. An BTW, are there any screenshots out there?
