Artificial Intelligence Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 Well, I made a new clean install of Mandrake 10.0...it went well as usual (happens when you mess up things to much like I do, love to try out stuff). But when I had downloaded and installed Firefox 0.9.3 and thunderbird 0.7.3 they wouldn't startup while clicking the links nor when I did into /usr/bin and clicked them. This I've experienced all the time with thunderbird 0.7.3 and normally used v. 0.5.x but it was first time I've experienced it with firefox 0.9.3. My first thought was: "Shit!". I've done my installation as I usually do and downloaded firefox and thunder from NORLUG-10 as Urmpi as usual. So I opened up the consol logged in as root, ran the firefox and thunderbird from there and wwwooopti!!!!
