spiedra
If xfce is not in your software manager or urpmi, then you did not install the sources using easy urpmi as suggested in previous posts. I'd suggest you read the faq's regarding urpmi. This will greatly help you in getting xfce installed. Also if you have any other problems, we need specifics if you want our help, i.e. error messeges. Procedures and commands you've performed, etc. We can't help you if we don't know what's going on.

Lord Tom
well, I know. But on the rpm ( ac_dispatcher's link) packets there is nothing like number one to number three. So whatever rank to install the packets? thanks
spiedra
CD to the directory you downloaded them, then as root from a console type: urpmi * This will install them rpms in order, plus resolve dependencies. arctic
on the rpm ( ac_dispatcher's link) packets there is nothing like number one to number three the first three are needed, otherwise, xcfe4 won't run at all. check that you have/find the first three rpms.
