Guest balatsoukas_p
Hello. Your everyday Linux newbie here. I read in many-many places (including this forum as well), that there is a tool called 'scanModem", helpful in the process of making a modem work under Linux, and it can be obtained from http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/. No matter how many times I tried this URL, it cannot be found. I tried a link I found in another webpage, http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/scanModem.gz, and it didn't work either. Could anyone provide another source for this tool? Thank you for your time, Pavlos, Greece.
devries
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/packages/scanModem.gz This worked for me. Maybe something got broken and they fixed things again. Good luck
