retiredff Posted August 26, 2004 Report Share Posted August 26, 2004 Hello, Has anyone used Directway satallite internet w/linux or any OS? The newer dishes do not require a dialup connection. I am not a gamer so the latency is not an issue. How is the speed vs DSL/cable? Is it dependable? Earthlink says they require directway to maintain a 90%+ connection rate. I am moving to the 'boonies' and am leaving my city cable internet and tv.
