Guest Apa_Pascal
Hello, could anyone tell me if the ATI Mobility M10 (9600) is supported by Mandrake 10.0 x86_64 ? I tried various distributions on my laptop (Acer Aspire 1500), but each time, i had to use the vesa driver due to poor support for the M10 (it seems ATI does not provide any video drivers for AMD64 architecture yet...) Oh, and a completely unrelated question, does this distribution comes with Gnat and other tools and libraries for Ada ? and what about opengl or mesa support ? thanks in advance ! DragonMage
Have you tried downloading ATI's proprietary driver and installing it?
Guest Apa_Pascal
I've tried that with Fedora for x86_64, but unfortunately, the drivers refuse to recompile due to ATI lack of support for AMD64 architecture. This is a known problem at least for this distribution, and i was wondering if Mandrake Linux could help me (using vesa drivers is a little bit frustrating... )
