dmkh Posted August 17, 2004 Report Share Posted August 17, 2004 Have you ever tried to modify the /etc/fstab file ? If not, give it a try by replacing "owner" by "users" in the lines concerning your floppy and CD-ROM. Then you could add your user to the groups "floppy, cdrom and users" (Control Center - Configure Computer - System - Users & Groups Manager).
