Guest kamill Posted August 16, 2004 Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 hi, i'm new here but on Mandrake 10 , when i start the computer it only logs into iceWm from which I can log into enlightenment or fluxbox but if i log out the panel with user/selecing gui appears and i cannot choose any (except defaut:icewm) because it just doesn't work (i click, it blinks,nothuing more) i can choose failsafe and then when i write kde or startxfce4 it says the server is already running for display 0 and tells me to delete xo.lock (which doesn't help) What shall i do to repair the logging into gui functon? devries Posted August 16, 2004 Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 Do you have KDE installed? If yes try adjusting your X settings (boot into failsafe, log in as root and type XFdrake). If no, install kde. If this doesn't work try updating. Go to the Mandrake Control Center-->software-->update and then try again.
