Guest Flightline Posted August 16, 2004 Report Share Posted August 16, 2004 Anyone out there that can Help with a small problem with Mandrake10 After loading Mandrake 10 onto my Laptop the system Hangs on finishing even after 10 minutes of waiting. Forced a reboot to see if that would help which it did but now when Linux loads it stops just after activating swap file any clues Tried a full reload just incase since 3 hrs on a virgin train from liverpool to Watford is tme well spent..... plus you get some funny looks as well Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(chip, ram, graphics-card, hdd, usb-devices,...), what type of format has your hdd? (ext2/3, reiferfs?) did you check your cd's md5sum before burning?
