a13x
I downloaded some upgrades for various packages in MDK 10 an can't install them because of a vicious circle. When I try to install kdelibs-common-3.2-36.2.100mdk.i586.rpm I get this error: error: Failed dependencies: libkdecore4 = 30000000:3.2-36.2.100mdk is needed by kdelibs-common-3.2-36.2.100mdk When I try to install libkdecore4-3.2-36.2.100mdk.i586.rpm I get this error: error: Failed dependencies: kdelibs-common = 30000000:3.2-36.2.100mdk is needed by libkdecore4-3.2-36.2.100mdk It's a vicious cricle and I cannot install any package this way. What sould I do ? [moved from Installing Mandrake by spinynorman]
tyme
put the rpm's in their own directory (no other RPMs) and do: urpmi *.rpm and it should sort them out. in truth, though, you really should just use Mandrakes updating program in Mandrake Control Center -> Software -> Updates (i think)

Sarissi
I just used Mandrake Update to get the bugfixes and updates for Mandrake 10.0 CE Powerpack, and had no problems. Mandy didn't even think about choking.
