gregor
Where can I change page margins form my printer (HP 690C)?
Guest JaseP
That's a software problem not a hardware problem. In hardware, the printer has a defined space in whihc it cannot print. That cannot be changed. Those spaces are necessary in order that the rollers can grab paper, etc. Beyond that, any additional margins are set in software, particularly in the application you are using. illogic-al
openoffice, kprinter, xpp and the list goes on but if you change it one on, the change does not carry over to the others. hope this helps
pmpatrick
I have an HP Photosmart 1000. I don't know if this will work for you, but when the print window comes up for my printer, there are two tabs, General and Layout. In Layout there are fields to adjust the margins. Mine are set to 0.5 inches by default.
gregor
OK thanks, so what tool should I use to set page margins if I print PFDs (kghostscript) and web pages (konqueror)? Setting margins in kprinter doesn't seem to change anything.
