Hello-

I have installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 on a Macintosh Wallstreet Powerbook.

I can get into the KDE, but i have noticed that neither my CD-Rom, or ethernet device is working.. I'm sure other things are not working right as well, but those are the most important right now.

In searching through the net, i can't find a definitive source for help on this topic.

Has anyone had success with this?

unfortunately we don't have a large Mac userbase on this board, especially for the "OldWorld" macs. You may want to look into yellow dog linux as it seems to have the best Mac support.

Hopefully someone will stop in and provide some help, but many mac questions in the past have gone unanswered so I dunno what your luck may be.

perhaps you could post any information regarding these devices that may show up in the Mandrake Control Center under Hardware? That might give some direction so that we know what exactly the hardware is.
