Cornellius
So, I installed everything and it all works fine... except for the internet (I'm under XP right now). It connects to the net (Using KPPP), but when I try to load a page, it says that the host does not exist just like if I wasn't connected. The thing is, I HEARD the phone while connecting to the net and the sound was normal, just like if I was connecting in Windows. Any clues ? tyme
copy what's in /etc/ppp/resolv.conf into /etc/resolv.conf or just link them: ln -s /etc/ppp/resolv.conf /etc/resolv.conf you'll have to be root to do this, of course.
Cornellius
I looked in ''/etc/ppp/'' and I do not have the file ''resolv.conf''. However, in ''/etc/'', I do have a file named ''resolv.conf''.
jlc
From your win box, ipconfig /all (in a cmd) look fo r "dns" entries and put those into your /etc/resolv.conf ex. search kc.rr.comnameserver 24.94.165.25 nameserver 24.94.163.113 nameserver 24.94.165.
