I looked in ''/etc/ppp/'' and I do not have the file ''resolv.conf''. However, in ''/etc/'', I do have a file named ''resolv.conf''.

So, I installed everything and it all works fine... except for the internet (I'm under XP right now). It connects to the net (Using KPPP), but when I try to load a page, it says that the host does not exist just like if I wasn't connected. The thing is, I HEARD the phone while connecting to the net and the sound was normal, just like if I was connecting in Windows. Any clues ?

When FC 2 final comes out of course, but the laptop I'll probably buy will be a : Compaq AMD Athlon XP, 40 Go, 512 MRam, CD-RW/DVD, etc... Will it work well with linux and Fedora Core 2 ?

Do you know where I could find a RPM for the Gnutella plugin ?

I have shorewall but it's disabled for the moment. I compile the OPENFT and GNUTELLA plugins. I'm using MDK 9.2 and I'm with a 56 K

OpenFT: Works but it stays in ''Connecting...'' state. As for Gnutella, see the pic.

How can I use it ? I need a .xpm and this is a gif.

So I installed GTK-Gnutella via mandrake-users uRPMi source (Nice source btw) but the app is telling that I'm under a firewall, but I am not. Well I don't think so. I use MDK 9.2. Any firewall for 9.2 is enabled by default or does the app is wrong ?

Anyone knows if Kazaa-Lite works under Wine ? I tried Gift and it doesn't work too well. I tried to compile Limewire, but it says that I need java, even though I install the RPM of java. I was wondering I could use WINE to use Kazaa-Lite K++ instead of logging into Windows XP each time I want to do some p2p :) Notice that I never reall used WINE. I did only once to try StarCraft under Linux, and it worked without changing a thing so I have no wine experience. Could you guys help me out ? Thanks a lot !
