Guest cmap
hi i've set up big brother to monitor my servers, but the user bbro keeps losing the ability to read the messages file. Its fine in logrotate.conf and has read privileges for the group the bbro user is in. The problem is above that ; the /var/log directory is root:root. I changed it to root:adm and put bbro in that group but it keeps changing back after a short time....umm....how do i stop this happening ? thanks for any pointer....
