Guest diesel_dan
Hi I am trying to set up my samsung 500N printer on my network I have installed the software that I downloaded from the samsung website. I have 2 Linux boxes on my network and one Windoz box. Both Linux boxes are running Mandrake 10.0. The box that has a printer installed locally the Samsung 500N driver installed with out a flaw! Configured the printer and works GREAT "Awsome Printer"..! however the other Mandrake box fails to install the driver. I get an error that the "Back End Failed" and ends the install. as far as I know the CUPS server is up and running. also on this box I can not use the samsung printer that is local to the first Mandrake box. I have tried to install Ghostscript(already installed) and the latest CUPS server. "I know just enough to be Dangerous" Thanx in advance Diesel Dan
