sambo
I'm trying to install an nforce driver I got from the NVIDIA site. I am trying to install it with the line: rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0274.src.rpm, as it says in the install instructions. However, when I do this I get the message: /usr/lib/rpm/rpmb: No such file or directory Does anyone know how I would go about install this? Thanks
sambo
I've also tried the rpmbuild command, but it says: rpmbuild: command not found I am using Mandrake 10 (OE)
DragonMage
Well that means you haven't installed rpm-build rpm yet. Install it by typing urpmi rpm-build as root Anyway, why do you want to install NForce Driver? Are you using kernel 2.4.x in Mandrake 10 OE? NForce driver is not needed for kernel 2.6.x
