Guest permittivity2
I have an odd device that I don't believe was on the market for very long. I have a Sony manufactured and branded CD-RW (works great) with a Memory Stick slot built in to it. It physically connects vie one connection to my secondary ide. It shows up in the bios as two devices as shown from a snippet int the next few lines from /var/log/dmesg hdc: SONY CD-RW CRX175A, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive hdd: SONY MEMORYSTICK CRX175M, ATAPI cdrom or floppy?, assuming FLOPPY drive . This brings me to the problem. Mount trys appears to mount hdd has an ide-floppy when it is not, and even loads that module at boot. When I run Sun's Java Desktop System from a live cd, the Memory Stick slot loads as hdd in thru ide-scsi module. so, how do i force /dev/hdd in Mandrake 10.0 (Community) to load through the ide-scsi module but not affect the cdrw on the same ide chain?
