arctic
okay, now something really weird (stupid/buggy?) happened to me... i was working with blackbox as root, administrating my box. later opened via konsole the kcontrol in order to change konquerors behavior. some messages appeared about gui... then i logged off again in order to log in as normal user. result: blackbox dead, icewm dead, tvm dead, X won't work somehow. i restarted my box (mandrake 10oe with all patches applied) and only got bash-line in order to login all loginmanagers were dead, too. i checked the x-session.error message and it says: startkde: Starting up...ksplash: WARNING: KGenericFactory: instance requested but no instance name passed to the constructor! Only one line in dcopserver file !: DCOPClient::attachInternal. Attach failed networkIdsList argument is NULL Only one line in dcopserver file !: DCOPClient::attachInternal.
