I've been playing around with mandrake 10 for about a week steight. At first I had trouble with the ati drivers then i finally got them to install without an error. Then I had a problem with the DRI drivers but i eventually got those to install without a hitch. So I installed the right snapshots then the right ati drivers and install went smooth with no errors. So my question to whoever can help me is once I have all this stuff installed how do I enable the 3d part of it. I've read around and people have been saying something about recompiling your kernel and making sure a few thing were written in. I have absolutely no clue how to recompile a kernel with extra commands. Could someone PLEASE HELP! I'm still a noobie if you guys havn't already guessed.
