Guest paul99 Posted July 7, 2004 Report Share Posted July 7, 2004 Awhile ago, I upgraded from Mandrake 8 to 9, and suddenly my tape drive (Seagate TapeStor 20 GB ATAPI) is no longer recognzied .. I look and realized that my /dev/ entries for the tape device(s) were gone. I can't remember what I had to do the first time to get my drive going (if I recall, it was more than just doing a mknod).
