Hello,

My LILO is booting Linux from hda8, when the real is in hda7, I know I have to change lilo.conf, so I did this, put CD 1, type F1, then rescue, goto console and finally I put this in the screen

vi /etc/lilo.conf

I does load vim but doesn't show me any of the lilo.conf info which is this (resumed)

....

boot=/dev/hda

map=/boot/map

default="linux"

keytable=/boot/es-latin1.klt

prompt

nowarn

timeout=100

message=/boot/message

menu-scheme=wb:bw:wb:bw

image=/boot/vmlinuz

label="linux"

root=/dev/hda8

initrd=/boot/initrd.img

append="devfs=mount acpi=ht splash=silent"

vga=788

...

So, what's wrong?, do I have to type anything else, or what, I tried with emacs, joe, nano, but the only thing that works is vi, help me, I really want to try Mandrake 10.0, but, it seems my fate won't let me :wall: , anyway, I hope you guys help me, I'm sure you will.

Luck!
