Getting LILO onto a floppy disk

Here we go!

I Windows XP installed on my first disk (upartitioned :C). I partitioned my second disk so I now have NTFS disk D and a ext 2 linux partition with a linux swap.

I intended to install Mandrakelinux 10.0 in the ext 2 partition which it did OK. However the installer did not give me the option of installing LILO on a floppy as the Starter Guide says you can. Instead it has now installed LILO in the MBR. I know how to remove LILO from the MBR using the command line (and fdisk as a last resort).

What I want to do before this, is put LILO onto a floppy from within Linux. Can anybody help me? As a newbie, step by step instructions would be a great help.

errm..just a tip. you can remove/restore the windows bootloader by booting by inserting the mdk cd, then select advanced options. there will be an entry, saying "restore bootloader", so... no need for fdisk. ;)
