knight40
Mandrake 10.0 installed, love it so far, makes windows like like crap. One question though, is there a way to convert a Microsoft Access 2000 database (Office 2000) to function in Linux using one of the Linux softwares? Thanks in advance. liquidzoo
I had this question a year or so ago here: http://www.mandrakeusers.org/index.php?sho...c=284&hl=access I found that mdbtools: http://freshmeat.net/projects/mdbtools/ worked for me

knight40
Thanks for the help, so I understand then Jet 3 and jet 4 are read only. SO if you had to make design change syou woul dhave to make them inwindows, then copy mdb file over? Also, end user would not be able to enter data such as sales orders into the read only file at all right (on linux)? Also, is their an alternative database in Linux to use starting from scratch to make a new database? (user friendly) thank you
