Guest Pudduh Posted June 22, 2004 Report Share Posted June 22, 2004 I'm using an Atheros AR 5213 Wireless PCI card with Mandrake 10 Community Ed and I installed the latest Madwifi drivers fine. I try to configure my card through 'configure my computer' only to find that Mandrake hasn't picked up on the drivers. I try to configure my card through iwconfig, etc but it dosen't seem to work. Not only that but Mandrake thinks that Ath0 is the VIA PCI to CPU bridge. :unsure: Basically I'm trying to ad-hoc to my Internet PC downstairs which has a bog standard 11mb wireless adapter. Is there any way I can do it through 'configure my computer'? or do I have to sort it out manually. If its the latter does anyone know whats the usual procedure to set up a wireless card through Iwconfig because I *must* be doing something wrong somewhere.
