Guest talLinux
Hello! I use Mandrake 10.0, with KDE 3.2. I am getting the following error when I click on either of my CDrom drives (the icons automatically generated on the desktop when you insert a CD in the drive): "Error -KIOExec Retrieving data from devices is not supported" I can still access the drives by going to file:/mnt/cdrom or file:/mnt/cdrom2 I realise I must have done something silly, but could someone point me to where it is? Thank you. Best regards. -talLinux- [moved from Software by spinynorman - welcome to the board :)]
devries
I couln't find any solution with Google but it seems you can still get at the data with Konqueror (/mnt/cdrom).
Guest talLinux
Yes, I still can access it through konqueror, but I can't understand whiche mistake I did! I found out that this problems occurs only with KDE... magidev works fine on Gnome! I posted the question again in "Software" board of this forum. Thank you anyway for having replied to me. Regards -Giorgio- I couln't find any solution with Google but it seems you can still get at the data with Konqueror (/mnt/cdrom). <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
