miemens
Hello. I 'm running Mdk 10 Official and was wanting to upgrade Gnome from 2.4 to 2.6. I was planning on changing my urpmi sources to cooker and then urpme gnome ,urpmi gnome and then changinf my sources back. Will this work? Will it break anything? Do I need to delete any .gnome folders first? Is this totally wrong? Is there a better way to do this? Any help will be appreciated.
bvc
it's by far the easiest way. Go back? From cooker? I d/k....never gone back....it's quite stable and has been for sometime, except from CE-OE. That was a nightmare with kde. Nothing is broke here, but I have a standard sys, standard pkgs. I would mv the gnome folders and not do the upgrade while running gnome.
