Hi.

Attempting to add packages to my existing install.

An error comes back to tell me that some of the packages have bad signatures and do I want to proceed?

Is this due to corrupt install DVD d'ya suppose?

A package signature is a mandrake method for assuring security. But, they even messed up their sigs on their own packages! As long as it it from a source that you are familiar with, don't worry about it. I have been loading bad sig packages forever. B)

OK. Thanks. I'll carry on regardless. My distributor www.cheeplinux.com said they'd send me a replacement media anyhow, just in case. Nice people!
