chris-tux Posted June 5, 2004 Report Share Posted June 5, 2004 (edited) I always have FAILED when it goes to the initiallisation of my networking card [02:05.0 Ethernet controller: 3Com Corporation 3c940 1000Base? (rev 12)] but I have full access to the Internet and my LAN is working all right. Has anyone solved this ? chris-tux Posted June 7, 2004 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2004 a little progress, I changed in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 MII_NOT_SUPPORTED=no in MII_NOT_SUPPORTED=yes (I believe ifplugd is not run) then, at boot, the activation of eth0 is OK.
